We want your finished ebook to be exactly what you dreamed of! Our revision process is designed to work hand-in-hand with you to make sure your project perfectly meets your initial requirements and our quality standards.
Here's how our revision process works:
•Provide Clear Requirements Upfront: To start strong, please give us all your project details and requirements before work begins. This helps your creative team understand your vision from day one.
•Collaborate During the Process: We highly recommend staying in touch with your writer, editor, or designer as they work. You can provide feedback and guidance directly in our platform's chat or by adding comments to the document. Making changes during this active phase (if they're reasonable and align with your original brief) helps avoid bigger revisions later. If you feel a creative isn't being responsive to reasonable in-progress requests, please let our project admin team know.
•Standard Revisions Included: Your chosen package includes a certain number of standard revisions. These are for ensuring your project adheres to the original requirements you provided. They do not cover adding new content that wasn't part of your initial brief.
•Timely Review is Key: Once your project reaches an approval stage, you'll have a specific timeframe to review it (indicated by a countdown on your order page). It's crucial to use this time to identify any necessary revisions.
•The Revision Process: When you request a revision, you'll enter a phase to add your comments and feedback. Please provide these comments as soon as possible. Your creative will then make the necessary changes and resubmit the project for your review, starting a new approval countdown.
•Out-of-Scope Revisions: If you need changes that go beyond your original project scope or standard revisions, these can often be accommodated for an additional fee. This covers the extra work involved and ensures our creatives are fairly compensated. Our team can provide specific quotes for these types of changes.
•Your Approval Matters: Once you approve a project or if the review timeframe expires without a revision request, we consider the project complete and satisfactory. Any revisions requested after this point will be subject to additional charges and may depend on your creative's availability.
•Specific Revisions:
For writing, editing, and outline projects, each "round" of comments constitutes one revision.
For narration, design, and illustration projects, revisions involve amendments to the existing submission, not a complete re-creation (e.g., a narrator can re-record a section, but not an entire chapter).
